It took Azrael Thunder Horse a long time to regain his identity after he became westernized in Hollywood. Making movies and lots of money had so taken over his life that after a time Azrael didn't even recognize himself. One day he just walked away from that life and returned to his roots on the Lakota reservation, where he is now {sic} Principal of the school. Azrael hired Cheyenne Red Wolf to teach Native American Studies, expecting her to be a Native American, but Cheyenne is a white woman, raised by an Indian Father. After losing her own Father Cheyenne's Mother had married again, to a wonderful man from the Lakota tribe. Cheyenne loved her new Father so much that she followed in his footsteps, following the Lakota rituals she learned from him.
She meets Azrael on her very first day at the school, and he is shocked to find he hired a white woman. As they lock with heated words Azrael is strangely overcome with feelings for Cheyenne. He had vowed to never be with a white woman again, and now he finds himself wanting Cheyenne in his life and his bed. Soon, Cheyenne shows him exactly what she is made of and what a magnificent woman she is. Not only do they have a scorching connection that heats up the sheets, but they discover there is more to their attraction, they have a deep connection that will make Azrael do everything in his power to keep his intoxicating Cheyenne, for she is his and he'll never let her go.Woman on Fire grabbed my heart and mind and wouldn't let go.
I was eagerly reading each page, not wanting to miss a word as the story unfolded and we learn who Azrael is and what he had become, and who Cheyenne is underneath the surface. The stunningly sexy scenes where they battle heatedly, yet Azrael seduces her into his bed and his life, are enchanting. I especially enjoyed the way that Fran Lee told the stories of Cheyenne growing up and Azrael's struggles to return to his heritage. They became real to me.
This is a powerful story of love struggling to come alive for these two amazing people who share the same heritage, though Cheyenne wasn't born to it. I hope that Fran Lee will continue to write more books about Native Americans and their loves as I have thoroughly enjoyed this second book in this series. Don't miss Woman on Fire, it's a story that conveys deep abiding passion and love.

Oh sweet lawd, where to start with this on!! I’m still fanning myself!! New to me author Fran Lee brings us the sooo sexy Uncertainly Yours. How does a man that screwed up royally 10 years ago convince a hardheaded Irish girl to take a chance on him and that he loves her?? Lance has been in love with Jacqueline as long as he can remember, but 10 years ago he was the older man (age 26) and she was the 16 year old offering herself up on a silver platter. He did the only thing a dumb man usually can think of. He made her think he didn’t want her.
He tells her “Just because a man gets a hard-on, it doesn’t mean he’s in love, Jack. Save yourself a lot of grief and don’t offer yourself to someone just because he likes what he sees.” This both crushes her and keeps her from turning to the wrong kind of man.
Now she is home to settle her late uncle’s debt and sell his ranch, but little does she know she can’t do any of that and the one man she never wanted to see again wants her to be his forever. Does he tell her the truth and put his heart on the line... NOOO that would be too smart for a man!! He does his best to try and trick her into loving him back.
What proceeds is a hot as hell and at times a little funny good time. Can these two that got it so wrong in the past build something to last a life time?? I absolutely loved this book!! I am now a fan and I’ll be darned if I don’t have another book crush! Lance is a hot as hell Native American!!
This is a novella, but it is so well written you feel like you have read a large book. This is one I highly recommend!!

Good lawd, Lance Blackfeather is too sexy for his own good. Losing her last known family member, Jacqueline O’Halleran returns to the Rocking O Ranch to handle her uncle’s burial and debts. Having more debt than assets, Jacqueline, also known as Jack, decides to sell the property. This decision brings her face to face with the uncouth Lance Blackfeather.
Since the age of fourteen Jack always had eyes for Lance, until a couple of years later when she offered herself to him. Questioning his love towards her, he dismisses her like a bad habit, when he spoke these words “Just because a man gets a hard-on, it doesn’t mean he’s in love.” Convinced that concealing his feelings was best because of the age difference, he purposely shatters her heart into a million pieces.
Lance is a sexy Native American, who watched Jack grow up from a child into an attractive teenager. Unable to attend the funeral services he pays his respects with an unexpected visit. When Lance arrived at Jack’s ranch house, he didn’t expect to have his heart skip a beat when he laid eyes on her. It had been 10 years since they last spoke or saw one another.
The time past is irrelevant when it comes to the sexual attraction between the two. Acting like high school students they couldn’t keep their hands off one another; which is why Lance devised a plan to conquer what he’s always wanted from her. Aware that she was not familiar with his customs, he uses his Lakota heritage as bait, slyly offering her more than she agreed to. Will Lance’s tactics work or will the advice his Aunt Molly gave become reality?
Author Fran Lee did an incredible job writing Uncertainly Yours. I absolutely loved this book, and its every bit of erotic. One of my favorite scenes took place in the bathroom where Lance acts as if he’s Captain Courageous and ends up on his back embracing bare buttocks. Or when Jack uses the phrase “you go commando” (comical).
Although I’m new to the author’s work, no longer will I be a stranger.
Uncertainly Yours by Fran Lee is highly recommended.

Samantha (Sam) Hastings has made a career of writing a series of books about the man of her dreams. He has been coming to her dreams for the past few years and she has used him and his likeness just from her memories. David Chance couldn’t believe it when he discovered that an author was writing about him and he didn’t know it. As outraged as he is, he is drawn to the photo insert in Sam’s books and getting her under him is becoming more important than getting payment for the use of his likeness.
Sam had no idea that during a book signing she would literally meet the man she has only dreamt about. It turns out David is a popular professional wrestler. David will have to use cunning to keep Sam by his side. How else will he ever recoup what is due to him?Out of Her Dreams doesn’t have any magic, paranormal, action, or suspense yet it kept and held my interest until the very end.
It is a modern day love affair with a sexual kick that kept my engine revved and ready for action. Sam and David are excellent characters who are able to carry this story without a lot of background noise and few secondary characters. The sexual chemistry between them was like a match to flammable oil the first time their skin connected. I had to keep the air conditioner on super high and the towels at the ready each time these two came together sexually and boy was it a lot.
I enjoyed Sam’s character because she was just so darn realistic that I could place myself in her shoes at any moment. David is an Alpha man, the kind that I love, dominant and self assured until it comes for his love of a good woman. He gets that mental kick in the butt. I truly loved this story and didn’t want to let David or Sam say goodbye to me. Out of Her Dreams was more than I imagined and I can’t wait to tell everyone to pick it up for a long night of orgasms. Keep your toys close and your partner closer!
